A through line of dissociative identity disorder permeates the track, metaphorically highlighting existential uncertainty.
The song’s events are detailed in reverse, starting with MC Ride’s getaway from police and eventual death in verse 1, him binge drinking and robbing a place in verse 2, and him waking up in rage ready to “get busy” in verse 3.
